Website Redevelopment
We are currently in the process of revamping our mailing list and contact forms as well as several other features on the website. Once the mailing list is tested we will send out a final notification to all users within our old list to resubscribe. The current list will be removed in approximately two weeks.
MCCL Land Contributions
The Muslim Community Center of Leesburg currently has only $353,76.00 remaining on the loan balance of the purchased land. We had purchased this land for $540,000.00 and are making swift progress towards paying off the amount.
Currently, we have updated the Chipin widgets to reset for the year but are looking for a more viable alternative for displaying our raised funds due to the applications limitations.
501(C)(3) Status
The Muslim Community Center of Leesburg (MCCL) would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for your generous contribution to the organization.
We are now officially tax-exempt under section 501(C) (3). All your contributions are tax exempt and you will be provided official documentation from MCCL for your donations to provide for fiscal year taxes.
For future donations please provide us with your complete name, contact number, and address so that we may create the appropriate documentation. Fundraiser Update
Mashallah, We would like to thank all those that were in attendance at our first major fundraiser. The event was a tremendous success and we would not have been able to do it without your assistance! Please stay tuned for an update of our financial status within the next few weeks.
Official MCCL Fundraising Event
We are pleased to announce the official MCCL Fundraising Dinner set to take place September 7, 2010 at the Holiday Inn, Leesburg, VA.
Tickets are being sold at the door and presale at $35 per person. Our special guest for the evening will be Imam Sulliman Jalloh and we encourage everyone to attend. Please bring all of your friends, family, neighbors, and come together to support the Muslim Community Center of Leesburg.

Purchase of land
We are please to announce the purchase of 5+ acres of land within the inclusion of an existing building. The contract has been signed and is finalized by the MCCL board. We would like to invite you to participate in establishing an Islamic Center of Leesburg so that you and your family can enjoy and reap the benefits of our very own mosque.
Please help us establish an Islamic center for you and your children. We are asking for your generous donations and qard hassan. Every dollar counts, no matter how large or small. As of right now, we require that 100 people pledge to donate $2,000 a year, or $166.55 per month for five years in order to pay for the land we have purchased. Please make this your continuous charity.
